Dr. Orsolya Ildikó FERENCZ - Honorary Full Professor

Dr. Orsolya Ildikó Ferencz is a senior research fellow, a ministerial commissioner for space and an extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Hungary. She graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of the Budapest University of Technology in 1993 as an electrical engineer and gained doctoral degree in 1996. She obtained her PhD doctorate from the University of Technology in 2000. She has been working at the Institute of Geography and Earth Sciences at the Eötvös Lóránd University since 1996 formerly as a research fellow, currently as a senior researcher. Additionally, she is a member of the public body of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. The scientific researches of the magnetosphere and electromagnetic environment of the planets as well as space weather are included in her research projects.

 

Gyula GYŐRI - Honorary Associate Professor

Gyula Győri is the aeronautical director-general and minister counsellor of the Ministry of Innovation and Technology. He obtained degrees in organizational engineering and aviation logistics, furthermore, he has a commercial and airline transport pilot licence. He was the councillor for the development and operation of the Debrecen Airport between 2002 and 2011. He was the aeronautical vice-chairman of the National Transport Authority and he has been its chairman since 2012.

 

István Miklós SALLAI - Honorary Full Professor

 István Miklós Sallai graduated from the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanical Engineering in the College of Agriculture in Nyíregyháza in agricultural mechanical engineering in 1980. He obtained his airline transport pilot licence in 1983. He worked as a first officer, then as a captain at Malév, subsequently as a captain at Farnair (ASL Aviation Group) until 2016. Currently, he works as an instructor for CAVOK Aviation Training Ltd as well as for PHARMAFLIGHT Zrt.
