  1. (core) subjects accepted unconditionally for entry (FAQ point 4)

the Bachelor of Automotive Engineering

  1. the (bachelor) courses or credit requirements accepted with conditions for admission, the specific requirements (CCC points 4 and 9.4), the way in which the institution makes up the knowledge lacking in the programme of each bachelor course, the plan for the institution

For holders of the diploma specified in point 4.2, with the exception of holders of the bachelor's degree in vehicle and plant engineering specified in point 4.2, the minimum number of credits required for entry to the master's cycle is 70 credits in the following areas:

    • 20 credits in the field of basic sciences (mathematics, chemistry and materials, mechanics, thermodynamics, electrical engineering);
    • 10 credits in the field of economics and humanities (economics and management, environment, quality assurance, occupational health and safety, social sciences);
    • 40 credits in the field of specialised knowledge (construction and operation of vehicles and mobile machinery, transport systems, logistics systems, operational transport systems, computer science, technical drawing, vehicle and propulsion components, structural materials and technologies used in vehicle construction, repair and maintenance, thermal and electrical installations in vehicles, control engineering, vehicle dynamics and propulsion, transport knowledge).

To be admitted to the Master's programme, students must have at least 40 credits in the listed areas from their bachelor's degree.

The minimum number of credits required for admission to the Master's degree in Vehicle Engineering is 60 credits in the following areas:

  • science (mathematics, physics, fluid mechanics) 10 credits;
  • economic sciences and humanities 2 credits;
  • 48 credits in specialised knowledge (construction and operation of vehicles and mobile machinery, transport systems, logistics systems, operational transport systems, computer science, technical drawing, vehicle and propulsion components, structural materials and technologies used in vehicle construction, repair and maintenance, thermal and electrical installations in vehicles, control engineering, vehicle dynamics and propulsion, transport knowledge).

To obtain a Master's degree, the 60 credits in the above fields of study must be acquired in parallel with the Master's degree within two semesters of admission, as specified in the study and examination regulations of the higher education institution.
